I am Chas, the Founder and CEO of WordswithChas, LLC, a platform dedicated to healing, growth, and empowerment. I have a strong passion for guiding individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. I hold a Master of Education in Counseling and Development with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. My experience includes working with diverse populations, including children, youth, couples, and survivors of domestic violence. With a background in professional counseling, my expertise spans grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, career guidance, youth mentorship, and relationship dynamics.

Through WordswithChas, I’ve created a space where therapy meets real-world experiences through counseling services, social groups, insightful blogs, or “I’m Stronger Than” podcast. Bridging the gap between individuals and their community serves as a core value of WordswithChas. Our goal is to provide a voice to those facing adversity, break the stigma surrounding mental and medical health, and inspire resilience in every journey.

Nylia brings a wealth of experience in both social work and healthcare. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and has over five years of experience in the medical field, with a strong background in case management.

With expertise in therapeutic clinical skills, rapid rehousing, and resource coordination for diverse and underserved populations, Nylia is deeply committed to advocacy, education, and empowerment. She is passionate about helping individuals find their voice and navigate challenges with confidence. She is dedicated to fostering a safe, welcoming, and healing environment for all.

Tonya brings a dynamic blend of expertise in event planning, product management, creative design, and marketing. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and also has experience in the education sector.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation, Tonya plays a vital role in developing creative strategies and enhancing brand engagement. Her ability to seamlessly blend organization with creativity ensures the success of various initiatives. She is dedicated to bringing the WordswithChas vision to life through impactful content and designs.
